The Mexican American Museum of Texas honors the passing of one of our founders, Albert J. Gonzalez, by continuing the work he helped begin. From the very start, he helped shape our mission and believed deeply that our stories—told through our own lenses—are essential to a more complete history of Texas. His dedication leaves an enduring legacy, and we will carry his shared vision forward with gratitude and purpose.
